She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sulcer and Mamie Sulcer; her siblings, Geneva Parker, Thomas Sulcer, Robert Sulcer, Ray Sulcer and Wayne Sulcer; and her daughter Mavis Elaine Watson.

She is survived by: her children, Marion Grayson Whisenant, Janice Nyoka Whisenant and Juanita Lee Goodman. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
