He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Scifres and Mae Irene Scifres (Nichols); and his wife Virginia "Jinny" L. Scifres (Tiedt). He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Scifres of Salem, Indiana and Tom Scifres (Kim) of Salem, Indiana; his grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Scifres (Saydi) of Salem, Indiana and Brittney Scifres (Ismael) of Campbell, CA; his great grandchildren, Skyler, Huxley, Dahlia and Etta; his brother Eugene Scifres of Villages, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Graves (Gary) of Salem and Sandy Tiedt (Tom) of Salem. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
