She was predeceased by: her parents, Romie Early, Sr. and Stella Hopkins Early; her husband James Spaulding; and her children, Brenda Spaulding and Jimmy Spaulding.

She is survived by: her brother Romie Early, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
