With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merrill Kemp of Salem, Indiana, born in Leavenworth, Indiana, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estell Kemp and Ola May Bills Kemp; his former wife Martha Woods Kemp; and his children, Merrill J. Kemp, Jr. and Clara Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife June Hottle Rudder Kemp; his daughters, Linda Kemp of New Mexico and Brenda Kemp of Shelbyville; and his sister Norma Crews (Jerry) of New Albany. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions, only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time for visitation and masks are required to be worn at all times.
