Maxine Costin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2020, at the age of 96, Maxine Costin (Salem, Indiana), born in Pekin, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gray and Alpha Blankenbaker Gray; her brothers, Forrest Gray, Hershel Gray and Basil Gray; and her great grandchild Bailey Hamilton.

She is survived by: her husband Ernie Costin; her children, Jerry Costin (Nola), Rick Costin and Terry Dixon (Richard); her grandchildren, Duane Hamilton (Lana) of Salem, Ginger Butler of Salem, Kerri Williams (Chuck) of Salem, Tammy (Chandler), Scott Costin (Mary) and Zach Costin; her stepgranddaughter Tabi Wooten; and her sister-in-law Pauline Gray. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a step great-great grandchild.

Memorial donations can be made to the SHS Football Alumni Bailey Hamilton Scholarhip fund in care of the Washington County Community Foundation.
