She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Brown and Mary Howard Brown; and her siblings, Sam, Claude Brown and Elsie Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Vermillion (Kristy Cheatham) of Salem and Heather Vermillion of Salem; and her siblings, Donald Brown of Salem and Randi Painter (Joe) of Delphos. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
