She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Blevins and Edith Melton Blevins; her husband Kenneth Hawes; her son Gregory Lee Shell; and her brothers, Tony Blevins, Orville Belvins Jr., Ricky Blevins, Mike Blevins and Robert Blevins.
She is survived by: her son John Christopher Shell (Angela) of Salem; her sisters, Betty Potts of Salem and Robin Deaton (Richard) of Salem; and her grandchildren, John Shell, Jacob Shell, James Shell, Ava Shell, Jackson Shell, Ryan Shell, Megan Young and Isaiah Shell. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
