He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hayes and Lucille Hayes (Price); his siblings, Michael Hayes, Jeffrey Hayes, Marilyn Goulding and Carolyn Handy; and his great grandchild Adelynn Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Debbi Hayes (Gill); his children, Mark Davidson (Lisa) of Salem and Melissa Bateman (Charles) of Bonneau; his grandchildren, Travis Mull of Charleston, Tanner Mull of Bonneau, Alex Davidson of Salem, Cameron Davidson of Salem, Siera Morgan of Rockledge and Kelsey Davidson of Salem; his great grandchildren, Gunner Monroe and Rowen Mull; and his siblings, Beverly Davis of Decatur, Jacqueline Burke of Blue Mound, Sheryl Muirheid (Ben) of Vivian, Sophia Fulk of Blue Mound, Illinois and Lester Hayes (Katie) of Decatur, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
