He is survived by: his wife Nita Lewis Armstrong of Salem; his children, Anthony Armstrong (Erin) of Orleans and Kayla Howard (Garon) of Mitchell; the mother of his children Denise Armstrong of Mitchell; his stepchildren, Chris Batchelor (Melissa) of Corydon and Amanda Reynolds (Adam) of Campbellsburg; and his siblings, Eddie Armstrong of Corbin, Orville Armstrong of Pekin, John Stearns of Louisville, Roy Armstrong of Louisville and Eva Armstrong of Harrodsburg. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 4 step-grandchildren.
