It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Pearl Powell of Salem, Indiana, born in Glendale, Kentucky, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Forest Jeffries and Vira Jeffries (Best); and her husband Robert Lee Powell Sr.. She is survived by: her caregiver Rachael Lee (Michael) of Pekin; and her daughters, Rita Logsdon of Louisville, Sandra Powell of Pennsylvania and Teresa Arnold of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 2 brothers, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
