He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Nancy Mildred Sowder (Nolan). He is survived by: his wife Rhonda R. Sowder (Richardson); his children, Jeremy Sowder (Andrea) of Salem and Robin McClain (Stephen) of Salem; his brother Dearl Sowder of Carlisle, Indiana; his grandchildren, Reymington, Hunter, Renee McClain, Nathan and Kaden Sowder; and his great grandchild Waylon McClain.
