He was predeceased by: his father Dale Ervin King. He is survived by: his mother Paula Morris King of Salem; his wife Christina Brinley King of Salem; his children, Joseph Tyler Brinley of Salem, Christa Hortenberry of Radcliff and Brenden M. Brinley of Salem; his sister Ingrid Ruiz (Pablo) of Greenwood; and his nephews, Zachary Ruiz of Greenwood and Josh Ruiz of Greenwood.
