She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Byrd and Mary Byrd (Williams). She is survived by: her husband Gary Nelson; her children, Jamie Nelson McClain, Laura Nelson, Chad Nelson and Chris Nelson; and her brother Charles Byrd. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
