She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess McVay and Nellie Eaton McVay; her spouse Hillous H. "Fish" Fishburn; and her siblings, D. L., Glen, Charles, Lewis, Phillip, Ledford, Ronnie McVay and Elizabeth McNeely.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Amburn (Donna) of Salem and Wanda Cruse (Mike) of Salem; her stepchildren, Steve Fishburn of Seymour and Marsha Cunningham of Seymour; and her sisters, Dessie Smith of Salem and Linda Roberts of Salem. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Weathers Funeral Home (106 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
