John R. Meyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 81, John R. Meyer in Salem, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Meyer and Nellie Meyer; his wife Judy Meyer; his sisters, Sheila Jeschke and Karen Bretey; and his son-in-law Rick Leinbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Meyer of Denison, Shari Leinbaugh of Omaha, Julie Thompson (Larry) of Denison, Chad Conway of Sioux City and Sheila Hansen (Jim) of Harlan; his grandchildren, Dereck, Lindsey, Dillon, Zach, Parker, Bailey, Chloe, Sophie, Riley, Chase and Nathan; and his siblings, Annie Kroll (Bob), Bob Meyer (Shirley) and Richard Meyer (Marcia). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
