He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Ellis; and his brothers, Christopher Ellis and Matthew Ellis. He is survived by: his father Harry M. Ellis; his stepmother Pat Ellis; his children, R. J. (Savannah), Kara and Billy; and his siblings, Patty Rodriguez (Andy), Michael Ellis (Inok), Steve Ellis, Scott Ellis (Lesia) and Laura Lynch (Viron). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
