With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe L. Baker of Salem, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Baker and Catherine Chastain Baker; his sons, Don Baker and Jim D. Baker; and his brother Bill Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Waneta Walton Baker; his sons, Chris Baker (Jaulita) and Bill Baker (Karen); his grandchildren, Chad, Sheree, Travis, Ragon, Christy and Byron; his great grandchildren, Jude, Maddox, Reid, Kate of Jack Ryan, C. J., Hunter, Rebecca, Jaxson, Lily, Emma, River and Asher; and his stepsiblings, Don Schultz and Rita Allen.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Washington County Community Foundation.
