He is survived by: his parents, Robert Silverthorn and Earlene Silverthorn (Wood); his nephew Ethan; his close friend Sandra Deaton; his children, Hannah Long (Dathan), Ben Silverthorn and Tad Silverthorn; and his siblings, Donna Brazzell (Andy), Adam Silverthorn (Evelyn) and Daniel Silverthorn (Miranda).
