He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hardy and Virginia Hardy (South); and his sisters, Pauletta Hardy and Reba Sargent. He is survived by: his wife Doris Hardy (Casey); his children, James "JJ" Hardy, Jr. (Christy), Charles Hardy (Cindy), Mitchell Hardy (Misty) and Gertie Collier (Richard); and his siblings, Anthony Hardy, Bobby Hardy, Anna Roningen and Jennifer Ripley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
