He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Rowland and Dora Evelyn Brooks Rowland; his wife Sheri Rousey Rowland; his son Jack Douglas Rowland; and his siblings, Paul Albert Rowland, Carl Hilton Rowland, William Edward Rowland, Tilman B. H. Rowland, Willie Mae Tuttle and Charlene Roll.
