He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Stewart and Una Miner Stewart; his wife Donna Fish Stewart; and his daughter Rebecca Stewart. He is survived by: his former wife Lucy Davidson Stewart; his son James Stewart (Dee) of West Chester, Ohio; his stepchildren, Alicia Whittle of Salem, Christy Casey of Salem, Randy Edmondson of Salem and Vicky Lynn Francis of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Ariana Allen (CJ) and Drake Stewart. He is also survived by 7 step grandchildren & 3 step great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Highland Baptist Church.
