He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah; his former wife Patricia L. Harrison; and his daughter Sandy Harrison. He is survived by: his son Hershel A.; his wife Anna Harrison; his children, Brandon Harrison (Lindsay) of Salem, Geoffrey Harrison of Salem, Brian Harrison (Chandra) of Scottsburg and Kathy Mason of Chuluota, FL; his stepsons, Tony Romano of Spokane, WA and Richard Romano II (Janice) of Beaverton, OR; his father Danny Adkins of Springfield, MO; his stepdaughter Crystal McCracken (Kent) of Spokane, WA; and his sister Jeanette Dottley (Bob) of Olive Branch, MS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandsons, and multiple nieces and nephews.
