She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Shackford Davis Jr. and Esther Mae Davis (Gaffner); her spouse Rodgers K. Smith; and her sister Sandra Shackford Ashnault. She is survived by: her children, Philip Rodgers Smith (Teresa) of Mt. Washington, Jeffrey Scott Smith (Rita) of Salem and Krista Lynette Martin of Salem; and her sister Judith Ann Randall (Peter) of Eliot, Maine. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
