She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Middleton and Delora Witt Middleton; her husband Robert Brown; her sons, James Robert Brown and Joey Brown; and her siblings, Walter Middleton, Orville Middleton, Jr., Phyllis Persinger and Barbara Robinson.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Brittany Vertrees (Patrick) of Lanesville; her great grandchild Ryder Vertrees of Lanesville; and her sister Anna Tegarden of Salem. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
