He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marshall Powell and Barbara Schroll Powell; his children, Deborah Cooley (Charles) of Pekin, Linda Schamel (Mark) of Salem, Karen Morgan (Jeff) of Salem, Janet O'Keefe (Robert) of Salem, David Powell of Atlanta and Michele Steggeman (James) of Edgewood, KY; his wife Shirley Powell; his son Terrance Powell (Karen); and his daughter-in-law Robyn Powell. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
