He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Brown and Lula Lockenhour Brown; his wife Helen Ruth Miller Brown; his daughter Janet Trueblood (Larry); his brothers, Merle Brown, Oren Brown and Arnold Brown; his half-brothers, Pete Brown, Jesse Brown and Bob Brown; his stepbrother Albert Lamb; his sister Ruth McKinney; and his stepsister Grace Maudlin.
He is survived by: his children, Alan R. Brown (Kim) of Simpsonville and Barbara J. Tempel (Jim) of Columbus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
