With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Elzie Gore Jr. of Salem, Indiana, born in Crestwood, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnora Gore, (Thompson-Evans) and Elmer Gore, Sr.; his brother David Gore; his half-sister Mona Elizabeth Gore Tuton; and his stepfather William Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Joy (Hendricks); his children, Mike Gore (Sherry), Dawn Meador (Dan) and Carl Gore (Loretta); his grandchildren, Logan Gore (Chloe), Heather Churchman (Tyler), Aly Meador and Alex Meador; his great grandchild Karson; and his sisters, Carol Bothwell and Barbara Koontz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Norton Children's Hospital in Elmer Elzie Gore's memory.
