He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Steward and Helen Sasser Steward; and his siblings, Frank Steward, Tom Steward and Phyllis Box.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Wineinger Steward of Salem; his son Brad Steward (Allison) of Salem; his brother Mike Steward of Florida; and his half-brothers, Gene Laws and Charlie Laws.
