She is survived by: her mother Patricia K. Spurgeon of Salem; and her brothers, Robert Applegate (Heather) of Salem, Justin D. Applegate (Theresa) of Scottsville and Bryan Applegate (Michele) of Houston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
