Derek Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2021, at the age of 60, Derek Smith of Salem, Indiana, born in Connersville, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Derek Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Larry Smith and Audrey Lucille Wagers Smith; his wife Shelli Smith of Salem; his brother Dudley Smith (Kerrie) of Richmond; his nieces, Abby Howard (Tim) of Connersville, Lydia Ervin (Nick) of Richmond and Megan James of Jacksonville; his nephew Adam Smith (Mikayla) of Connersville; his great-nephews, Branson, Sawyer and Owen; and his great-niece Presley.

In lieu of flowers and plants, Shelli asks that memorial donations be made to the Washington County Community Foundation, 1707 N. Shelby St. Salem, Indiana.
