He was predeceased by: his mother Linda S. Dotson (Sanders); his brother Anthony Dotson; and his grandparents, Vicky Dotson, Lovell and Ethel Sanders.
He is survived by: his father Randy M. Dotson; his stepmother Carol Dotson of Salem; his siblings, Trent Dotson of Salem and Angela Layton of Borden; and his grandfather Merdie Dotson of Salem. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.
