He is survived by: his mother Alyce Sauerheber Windell of Salem; his children, Tyler Windell (Hannah) of Indianapolis and Allison Windell (Austin Tewell) of Terre Haute; his grandson Weston Tewell; and his sister-in-law Julie Windell of Salem.
