We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2021, at the age of 91, Clara Catherine Pruitt of Salem, Indiana, born in Lanesville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Christian and Agnes Smeltz Messmer. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Pruitt; and her children, Chris Pruitt (Brenda) of Pekin, Jeff Pruitt (Kelly) of Pekin, John Pruitt (Sherry) of Garner, Connie Lewellyn (Gary) of Sellersburg, Beth Wells of Louisville and Janet Casey (Donnie) of Salem. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
