It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Basil of Salem, Indiana, born in Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll W. Basil and Maxine Ann Basil; and his brother Jeff Basil. He is survived by: his wife Carol Wilson; his children, Allison O'Grady (Tom) of Louisville, Kim Powell (Ben) of Knoxville and Laura Basham (Christopher) of Otisco, Indiana; and his siblings, Janice Basil, Robert Basil of Clarksville, Indiana and Tommy Basil of Clarksville, Indiana. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
