He is survived by: his wife Janet Paden (Hearn); his children, Annie Maddux (Denny) of Crossville, TN, Carrie Hopkins (Greg) of Salem, IN and Jeremy Paden (Meredith) of Jeffersonville, IN; and his siblings, Lowell, Daniel Paden (Debi) of Murfreesboro, TN, Martha Avent (David) of Chester, VA and Marion Haddon of Virginia Beach, VA.. He is also survived by his 26 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory (209 S Ferguson St, Henryville, IN 47126). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:15 PM.
