She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Tanksley and James Rollie Tanksley; her foster parents, Arthur Gray and Alberta Gray; her siblings, Roger Tanksley, Shirley Kilburn, Joann Kitzero, Virginia Turner, Jimmy R. Tanksley, Richard Dean Tanksley, Elvin Gray and Loren Gray; her grandson Danny Lee Sill II; and her cousin Maxine Wheeler.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Sill (Joy) and Danny Sill (Mary); her grandchildren, Brandon Sill, Kendra Sill, Ashley McKim (Nathan), Kenneth Wilson (Jessica), Jonathan Wilson, Troy Wilson (Sharayah), Billy Wilson, Chrystle Felts-Nieft (Brian) and Desiree Ziemer (Claye); her siblings, JC Chastain, Patty Kirby Sharp (Jim) and Gerald Gray (Margaret); and her cousin Randall Robinson (Pam). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dawalt Funeral Home (204 E Market St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
