She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Brent Sumpter and Hattie Ayers Sumpter; her husband William "Bill" Bennett; and her siblings, Ronald Sumpter (Vicki) of Richmond, KY, Sharon Sumpter of Salem and Opel Wetzel of Flint. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.
