It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy H. McBride of Salem, Indiana, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Billy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McBride and Minnie McBride (Seaton); and his wife Erna Kay McBride (Ellis). He is survived by: his children, Teresa Browning (Robert), Christina Schmidt (Ricky), Angela Roberts (Daniel) and Brian McBride (Tina); and his siblings, Marilyn Stewart, Jean Emerson and Michael McBride. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
