He was predeceased by: his father William H. Johnson; and his brother Kenneth Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Jean Johnson (Hefner); his children, Delany Johnson of Lebanon, Jesse Johnson of St. Paul and Melissa Johnson (Dustin Branscum) of St. Paul; his siblings, Bobby Johnson (Linda) of Greenfield, Pam Newman of Greenfield, Terry Johnson of Indianapolis, Doug Johnson (Maggie) of Indianapolis and Todd Johnson (Debbie) of Midway, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Eli, Levi, Jesse Jr. and Samuel Johnson.
