He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin H. "Cotton" Denning and Mary Helen Denning (Gunselman); his brothers-in-law, David Jones and Bob Heeke; and his godson Steve Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Albert "Erfle" Denning (Mary) of St. Meinrad, Sara Heeke of Bretzville, Millie Jones-Faulkenberg (Larry) of Bristow, Eileen Marks (Bill) of Jasper, Mary Ann Olinger (Randy) of Ferdinand and Dorothy Fleck of Jasper; and his pet Milo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Meinrad Cemetery Endowment Fund or St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire Department / First Responders.
