It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda W. Bertke of Saint Meinrad, Indiana, born in Ferdinand, Indiana, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Weyer and Philomena Weyer (Rahman); her husband Erwin F. Bertke; her children-in-law, Vicki Bertke and Daryl Nigg; and her siblings, Leona Kunkler and Leonard Weyer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Nigg of Newburgh and Carol Etienne (Burke) of Tell City.
