With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna E. Gogel of Saint Meinrad, Indiana, who passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Donna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Donna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dunward Howe and Hazel Howe (Vanhooiser); and her siblings, Dunny Howe and Brenda Jacob. She is survived by: her significant other Leroy Gogel; her children, Michael Gogel (Kim) of Loogootee and Tammy Sprinkle of St. Meinrad; and her siblings, Wayne Howe of Tell City, Bill Howe of Owensboro, Mary Kellems of Tell City and Georgia Smith (Keith) of Chrisney. She is also survived by three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
