He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Buechler; his children, George Buechler (Shelly) of Huntingburg, Carolyn Leffert (Paul) of Mariah Hill, Brenda Spayd, Kristi Wagner (Vince) of Evansville and Janis Tretter (Kurt) of Ferdinand; his sister Mary Knust (Donald) of Ferdinand; his grandchildren, Brandy Burton (Brent), Cody Leffert (Ashley), Luke Leffert (Tori), Justin Buechler (Emily), Brittney Mosby (Bryce), Holly, Sarah Buechler, Adley, Mallory Spayd, Landon, Jaeden, Raegen Wagner, Taylor Weyer (Trent) and Morgan Tretter; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Waylon Burton, James Buechler, Kennedy and Cooper Weyer.
