William R. Slager Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William R. Slager of Saint John, Indiana, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slager and Agnes Slager; and his brother Bernard Slager (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Anita Slager; his children, Gregg Slager (Sue), Michael Slager (Sally), Randy Slager (Brenda) and Jill Nikkel (Jeff); his grandchildren, Megan Slager, Todd Slager, Eric Slager (Ashley), Nancy Jones (Nate), Jordan Nikkel, Jocelyn Nikkel, Kyle Slager and Justin Slager; and his great grandchild Ray Jones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 11:00 a. m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p. m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood Lansing Road, Lansing, IL with services conducted by Rev. Cal Aardsma. (In consideration of others, please wear a mask).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Illiana Christian High School, The Luke Society or World Renew.
