He was predeceased by: his parents, John Habas and Sharon Habas. He is survived by: his children, Aimee, Matthew and Emilee Habas; his girlfriend Tanya Petersen; his brother John "Bub" Habas Jr.; his close friend Kevin Biedzycki (Maribel); and also D'ann Habas.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fagen Miller Funeral Homes - St. John (8580 Wicker Ave, St John, IN 46373). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
