He was predeceased by: his brother David Hoeksema (Joy); his parents, Jacob Hoeksema and Mildred Hoeksema; and also Chris Hoeksema. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Laning Hoeksema; his children, Carrie Hamstra (Daniel), Courtney Voss (Douglas) and Emily Diekemper (Daniel); his grandchildren, Isaac, Garret, Delanie, Kennedy, Gavin, Chase and Cole; his brother Richard Hoeksema; and his nieces and nephews, Kara Kasbergen, Wynette Bouma and Kimberly Urban.
