He was predeceased by: his grandchild Kora; his sibling Beverly Jones; and his parents, Donald Huizenga and Jean Huizenga. He is survived by: his wife Joy E. Huizenga; his children, Doug Huizenga (Erica), Jen Topp (Jason), Ryan Huizenga and Katie Abbott (Sam); his grandchildren, Kaya, Eli Huizenga, Kaelyn, Layton, Kolten Topp, Diane, Audrey, Hannah, Adelyn and Brynley Abbott; and his siblings, Janet Sutorius (John), Ellen Caposey (Lou), Jill Dekker and David Huizenga.
