He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Robert Waterstraat, Sr.; his sister Debbie Walker (Karczewski); his wife Ruby; his mother Jaqueline Smith (Gundaker); his uncle Robert Gundaker; his children, Erika Stamper (James), Stephen Waterstraat (Linsey) and Brian Waterstraat; his stepsons, Mike (Megan) and Chris Dawson; his nephew Kelly Karczewski; his brother Joe Waterstraat (Sue); and his grandchildren, Emerson, Aubrey (Andrew Stamper), Grayson (Carter Waterstraat) and Brenden (Mason Dawson).
