He is survived by: his former wife Rose; his wife Rosalee; his children, Michael Casalin, Susan Kilbourne (Jay Hanson) and Sandy Casalin; his grandchildren, John Kilbourne, Lauren Kilbourne, Shannon Bircher (Joe) and Amber Casalin; and his sister Mary Van Cura. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great, great, grandchildren.

“I remember my 2nd cousin (by marriage to rose), ray casalin, as a happy-go-lucky guy who was always smiling. In my memory of seeing him through the years at family functions, weddings and wakes, he didn't say much, but he laughed at other's jokes and humor, and had that smile for all. My deepest condolescents to his family. If anyone has the phone number or a way to reach rose or sandy, his daughter, can they could call me? I appreciate it. (630) 670-0619.
