He was predeceased by: his wife Karren Pettit; his children, Susan Clough and John Pettit; his son-in-law Pat Clough; his brother Gerald Pettit; and his sister-in-law Alma Jean Pettit.
He is survived by: his son George Pettit; his daughters-in-law, Dawn "Cricket" Reynolds Pettit and Dawn Plestina; his grandchildren, Lanie Pettit (Tyler), John Andrew Pettit, Noah Pettit, Riley Pettit, Bridgette Rocha (Anthony) and Chris Clough (Mariana Gonzalez); his great grandchildren, Henry, Elise, Crystal, Alondra, Camden, Dominic and Briana; and his brother Larry Pettit. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fagen Miller Funeral Homes - St. John (8580 Wicker Ave, St John, IN 46373). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
